I have a new video piece featured in Cleopatra’s and Chris Rice’s CKTV, an immersive exhibition of sound, video, and performance featuring karaoke videos created by an expansive roster of artists. The presentation in BAM’s gallery space comes in the form of a looping video installation, in which each work has the opportunity to exist at its most concentrated format, accompanied by a song of the artist’s choice. Accompanying the exhibition will be a one-night event of audience participation karaoke that is open to the public. Previous installments of CKTV took place in the Brooklyn Pavilion at the 2012 Shanghai Biennale and as an evening of performance at the Tandem bar in Bushwick.
Update: Footage of the live performances can be seen at Sex
