I am proud to be featured in the “documentary about The Bruce High Quality Foundation‘s rendition of the popular Broadway musical Cats, which was performed on Broadway in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Features a cast of neighborhood characters (shopkeeper, minister, hoodlum, college student, prostitute) in the context of the area’s gentrification—with everyone dressed like a cat. One year later, cast, crew, and audience reflect on their “Broadway” experience”. I played saxophone in the band who provided live music for the entire show, as well as acted in the scene, “All Of Me.”
